All Time Favourite Recipes and New Memories
When it comes to food, our all-time favourite recipes are the ones we remember growing up with. Maybe it was mum’s blueberry pancakes on Saturday mornings. Or grandma’s sticky caramel slice after Sunday lunch. Whatever it is, with those special recipes the smell and taste can almost literally take us back in time.
As we grow up, we still eat those familiar dishes, but we also create new ones (like our slow-cooked beef brisket sliders, yum!). These new recipes create new experiences and new memories. The all-time favourite recipes are still important, of course! Not only do they taste delicious, but they also remind us of a time when life was simple. Our new favourite recipes show us how much we have grown and all the places our lives have taken us.
Food is the Cornerstone of a Good Life
Food, whether it’s from your childhood, from your travels or from your own kitchen experimentation, is the cornerstone that makes us feel good and brings our family and friends together as we enjoy life.
Here at Dad’s Home Kitchen we hope you may find a dish that you remember growing up with. And we hope you find a whole heap that you want to add to your repertoire, as well.
