Parmesan & Garlic Crumbed Nuggets

Crunchy parmesan & garlic crumbed nuggets are a healthier version of everyone’s favourite snack! A perfect solution for when you run out of ideas for finger food. They’re also vegetarian friendly too.

Everyone loves nuggets! There’s something about them that brings back childhood memories dunking a crisp and juicy nugget into sauce like sweet chilli, tomato or even honey mustard. They’re a great snack for kids and making them at home is a much healthier option for yourself and the kids.
There is nothing great about store-bought nuggets. With homemade, you know exactly what’s in these nuggets and you’ll feel good making them for your family. I’ve tried to keep these parmesan & garlic crumbed nuggets as healthy as possible by baking them in the air fryer. If you don’t have an air fryer then you can still bake them in the oven.

Baked nuggets are low fat and healthier than fried. They are crisp on the outside and tender inside. You’re going to love this spin on the classic nugget. OH, and don’t forget to have your favourite dipping sauce ready to go as well. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 600 g 600 Lamyong Vegetarian Nuggets

  • 1 cup 1 flour

  • 2 2 eggs (beaten)

  • 1 cup 1 breadcrumbs (panko or Italian)

  • 3 tsp 3 seasoned salt

  • 3 tsp 3 pepper

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic powder

Directions

  • In three individual bowls, separate the flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  • Add a teaspoon of seasoned salt and black pepper to each of the bowls and whisk to combine.
  • Dip the Lamyong Vegetarian Nuggets in the bowl of flour and shake off any excess.
  • Dip the nuggets in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides completely.
  • Finally, dredge the nuggets into the breadcrumb mixture, again making sure to coat both sides thoroughly.
  • Place the nuggets in your air fryer rack. You can spray them with cooking spray if you like but that’s totally optional.
  • Set your air fryer at 200°c for 20 minutes. Flip the nuggets half way through the baking process.
  • Serve the nuggets hot and fresh with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
