Roasted Smoked Paprika Chicken Burger with Balsamic Beetroot Relish

Now this roasted smoked paprika chicken burger with balsamic beetroot relish has the most amazing smokey taste with a delicious caramelization flavour that just pops in your mouth.

I’m pretty partial to a burger, but I will always prefer homemade than fast food. My favourite meat to cook with is chicken and I had this idea of putting Hungarian chicken paprikash into a burger. I used the Beerenberg balsamic beetroot relish not only because it’s delicious, but the relish and paprika are truly the best of friends together.

Please by all means, use your favourite burger buns or bread rolls. I love using the hamburger buns from Coles. They are the perfect size and are beautifully light and fluffy. With the cheese, I chose maasdam as it’s a smooth cheese that won’t over power the chicken and of course I can’t go past having more than one slice on my burger. Make sure your tomato is fresh and juicy and the onion is great for a bit of crunch in your burger.

You are going to love this burger. Oh, and don’t forget to serve it with some hot chips or better yet,  my spicy wedges will go perfectly with it. Enjoy!
